For as long as I can remember, I have had an extremely strong connection with nature. This connection stems from my time spent in Northern Ontario as a child – spending my time around beautiful trees, forests, and large rock formations. Nature has always been something that I hold close to my heart.
After spending 38 years of my life working in the corporate world, I retired in May of 2017. Retiring gave me the gift of time, time to explore my creative side. Using my new-found opportunity, I started to experiment and work with wire and crystal – this is how I started making my version of the tree of life.
The process of creating a tree is a sort of mediation for me – I connect with the wire as I twist and build my trees. I choose to use crystals with healing properties as I find myself with a deep connection to them and can understand their healing properties.
I believe that everything will happen for a reason – and creating these trees has led me to where I am now in my life.
“My trees speak to you, come hear their story.”
I am grateful to be able to do what I love and create something that gifts each individual person with what they need at that point in their life.
